ABS
= ABSOLUTE QUALITY
In order to guarantee constant high
quality of its products, ABS
operates with a Quality Management System in compliance
with ISO 9002 since 1991.
The certification of ABS
quality management system is issued by I.G.Q.
(the Italian Institute of Quality
Assurance for metallurgical products) a body belonging
to the International Certification Network -IQNET.
At the beginning of 1999, the ABS
quality management system was certified to comply with
the strict requirements of the American Standard QS
9000, Third Ed. March '98;
thanks to this important certification, the company is
now part of a selected group of special steels suppliers
for automotive industry.
In order to realize a continuous improvement and to achieve
a full satisfaction of its customers, ABS-February
2003, has adjusted its quality management system to the
new Automotive Technical Specification ISO/TS
16949:2002.
In 2002 ABS
began the updating of the Quality Handbook to the new
edition of UNI EN ISO 9001:2000
and, in the same year, went on with the implementation
of ISO/TS 16949:2002.

products is further acknowledged by several international
